Residential Service Technician

POSITION SUMMARY

Comfort Temp is seeking a motivated Service Technician to join our team! This technician will be focusing on residential service work.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Travel to homes and businesses as scheduled
• Determine customer concerns with their current HVAC system
• Inspect current HVAC systems for effectiveness and safety
• Perform necessary repairs and routine maintenance
• Install new heating, cooling, and ventilation systems
• Maintain accurate inventory of all equipment and HVAC resources

REQUIRED JOB QUALIFICATIONS: (Including but not limited to)

• At least four years of experience in the HVAC field
• Completion of an HVAC training program at a vocational school or apprenticeship
• Current state HVAC technician license

• Certification through the Environmental Protection Agency to handle refrigerants required

• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Familiarity with industrial tools and equipment
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Good Customer Service Skills
• Valid Driver’s license
• Reliable and Self-motivated

WORK HOURS: (Approximate)7:00 am – 3:30 pm. Some overtime, evenings, weekends and light travel as needed.

PAY SCALE: $20.00 – $25.00 /Hour. Depending on experience.
