Our Story
Before starting Comfort Temp Heating & Air in 1985, Tom and Lucy Worthmann saw a need for a professional and honest HVAC company to serve North Central Florida residents. They desired to establish a company based on family values that would extend to their employees and customers.
Two companies were created: Comfort Temp Heating & Air and its sister company, CT Mechanical, which is a full-service mechanical and plumbing contractor-owned and operated under the corporate umbrella, Comfort Temp Company. This company is owned by Erik and Christine Worthmann. Together, they fully facilitate all operations of the businesses.
Our organization exists to serve people well and create comfortable spaces by solving issues. Our team’s creativity and attention-to-detail allow our clients to rest easy. By going above and beyond, Comfort Temp provides lasting peace of mind. We know that our clients’ well-being and budget rely on the work we do. Most clients will never see the effort, the careful calculations, and the decisions that go into each solution, but that’s not why we do it. We want to exceed expectations and get our customers back to feeling comfortable.
We also don’t rush through our services – we ensure that each customer receives our technician’s full attention for their needs.
